Rise Up Richland was established in 2019 under the leadership of Prisma Health's first and former SVP Community Health Services, Vince Ford, with a mission to support ongoing strategies that address both socioeconomic and racial gaps, fostering a county where everyone has a fair and just chance to lead a healthy life. The collaborative hopes to bridge socioeconomic and racial disparities by engaging diverse leaders and residents as catalysts for systemic and programmatic change.
